Image Discussion Night – Theme is The Derelict

Oxford defines derelict as: “adjective –  in a very poor condition as a result of disuse and neglect”. Derelict objects are all around us. Most people just pass them by with minimal thought and nary a second look. Then there’s that certain breed of people out there called “photographers” who know that one persons derelict object is anothers award winning photograph. So go through your digital junk drawer and pull out some gems. Or better yet get out there and find some of your own. We’ll meet at the Newton Cultural Centre from 7:00 – 9:00 pm to review, critique and enjoy the submissions. Doors open, as usual, at 6:45.
