Image Discussion Night – Environmental Portraits

Tonights theme will blend a crossover of elements in portraiture, street photography and still life. An environmental portrait is an image taken in the subject’s usual environment, such as in their home or workplace. It can capture them at work or play and can be casual or posed. You can find your subject at home or while travelling abroad. These images typically illuminate the subject’s life and surroundings.
For an example and bit of tutorial on the theme I have included a link to follow up if you like. The meeting is at our home base, the Newton Cultural Centre and, as usual the doors will be open from 6:45 to 7:00 pm.
