RULES of Entry – A Digital Competition

1. Each club may enter a Minimum of 4 images up to a Maximum of 10 digital images, one per member, no exceptions. While small clubs who enter the minimum may not have a chance to Place in the top club aggregate, this will allow for those members who’ve submitted images to have a chance to place in the top image categories. If someone belongs to more than one camera club, he or she may participate in only one club’s entry. Failure to comply will result in that person’s images being disqualified from both clubs’ competition entries.
2. Final preparation of images submitted is the responsibility of the participating club. Images that have previously been in an FVI will not be accepted. Your images may include composites and all aspects of artistic merit in post process to achieve and enhance the aspects of the subject overall. However, the resulting image must be comprised of a photograph(s) created by the image maker.
3. SIZE RULES – Digital images must be in JPEG format, and sized as max height 1050 pixels, by max width 1400 pixels, regardless of orientation. Images must use SRGB color space. Langley Camera Club will ask that you re-submit entries that do not comply so that the integrity of the image’s aspect ratio is preserved for best viewing. Please keep titles to five words or less.
4. Each image’s digital file must be named as follows: Take note to place Spaces in between names and hyphens.

Club assigned number, Club Initials, Image Entry Number, Maker Name, and Image Title, in that order.

Once confirmed, each club will be given an entry number to be incorporated into the file name of the images.
