Image Discussion Night – Shadow, Light & Form

Tonight we will focus on some of the primary elements of photography. We’re going back to the basics with this topic. We’ll explore how these key elements work. Light defines shapes and illuminates subjects and shadow is a key factor in creating contrast and texture. By considerate manipulation any or all of these, we can alter the perception of how an image is seen and the mood and atmosphere it evokes. Let’s go beyond a mere moment frozen in time and let your photos make a statement. Tonights meeting is at the Newton Cultural Centre. Doors open at 6:45 and the meeting starts at 7:00 pm.
