Guest Speaker – Rick Hulbert – Architecture Photography

Rick’s presentation is designed to appeal to all photographers,

regardless of their level of experience and expertise.

Four perceptual challenges will be presented that will enhance your

understanding of photographing both contemporary and historic

environments that were designed and constructed.

You will learn about key compositional principles that will guide your

portrayal of enhanced photographic “realism” in the documentation of

building exteriors and building interiors.

You will be exposed to various methods of portraying a sense of 3-

dimensional volumetric depth on a 2-dimensional screen or canvas.

We will explore an example of how we can learn about artistic

compositions that excel at “visual comfort”.
