SURREY PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB hosts Guest Speaker Devin Manky!

Devin Manky is a local photographer from North Vancouver, British Columbia who specializes in sports, nature and event photography but has a love for all aspects of the art.
Devin was the first recipient of the Steve Jackson Memorial scholarship at Langara College and is in the final stages of completing his certificate. While working on studies, Devin is actively pursuing work in sports and event photography and last year completed an internship with the Vancouver Canucks for whom he now does contract work. He also works with the international body for the sport of Fencing and covers international fencing competitions, traveling to Bulgaria and Russia and soon to Uzbekistan and Chile.
When not focusing on Sports, he enjoys nature and wildlife photography as well as creative environmental portraiture. Devin and his wife Tara live on top of Grouse Mountain where Devin also manages the Refuge for Endangered Wildlife and looks after two grizzly bears, two owls and a timber wolf.
Meeting starts at 7pm. Coffee break from 8-8:15. Ends 9pm.
