Good afternoon, my name is Mike Wallbank and I am the Photo Electronics manager at the London Drugs in Coquitlam Centre. My store is hosting a large photography event on Saturday May 9th and we would love to invite the members of your group. Essentially we will have representatives in the store from Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Panasonic and London Drugs. There will be special guest speakers, and various presentations and ‘trade-show’ style booths. Please let me know if you have any questions about the event. We would also invite your club to participate in the event by offering a booth so you can show off your member’s work and sign up new members. I have included a short blurb regarding the event:

To all CAPA Members, “CAPA is looking for images to represent Canada in the 4 Nations Competition.
This digital competition is held each year between the Photographic Societies of South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, and represents the best from each country.
In this competition each country enters a total of 80 digital images divided into four categories: open, monochrome, nature, and “our country”.
Please send up to five images in 1400 x 1050 format to David Laronde at email@example.com prior to March 15, 2015.
All images are eligible except for those that have formed part of CAPA’s previous entries in the 4 Nations Competition.
No entry fee is required to participate in this competition. Only one image per author is permitted by each country. Please help CAPA put together a strong entry reflecting the quality of photography of it’s members.”
There is still time to enter The “North Shore Challenge” as an individual! Deadline is February 7th. You do not need to be a CAPA member to enter. See http://www.nsps.ca/challenge/ for details.
